Washing Your Masks
Your mask should be washed after each public outing. Make sure you have at least 2 masks, so one available when the other is being washed.
These fabric masks can be machine washed or hand washed using any detergent or soap, then rinse well. To preserve the elastic ear loops, it is best NOT to use a dryer.
Line-dry or flat dry on a sanitized surface.

About Our Masks
The health experts have emphasized the importance of wearing a mask to minimize becoming infected with the coronavirus Covid-19, as well as infecting others (see https://us.yahoo.com/gma/top-chinese-health-official-warns-114801914.html).
If you become infected with Covid-19, you must take the appropriate steps to help prevent the pathogen from spreading to others in your home and community.
When an infected person coughs or sneezes, he/she sprays small liquid droplets from his/her nose or mouth that contain the virus. If you are too close to that person, you can breathe in the droplets, thereby becoming infected yourself.
To minimize that from happening, the experts recommend maintaining a social distancing of at least six feet between yourself and others. Unfortunately, social distancing isn’t practical if your entire family is quarantined together.
In such a situation, every member in the household (especially the Covid-19-infected individual) should wear the appropriate anti-viral mask (e.g., N95 masks). The central problem is these high-end masks presently aren't available to the general public. They also are not reusable.
We now offer simple cloth masks for daily use, as well as decorative masks for people who crave a bit of fashion.
All our masks are handmade with double layers of woven cotton fabric and elastic ear loops. While they are not meant to replace N95 masks, they do offer some level of protection against the virus until the latter become available to the general public.
Our masks increase one's protection by hindering the distance the viral droplets can travel in the air if worn by the infected person in the household. Another advantage of our masks is they are "washable".
